Contractor noticed our bungalow roof needed attention as mortar was falling out of the ridge tiles and the roof was urgent. He showed photos of the state it was in. He arrived with a team, removed tiles, battens and old felt and renewed with new slate, batten and felt with new ridge tiles. Great job.

Jack provided an initial quote but said it could be more if the old tiles could not be reused. Many tiles were brittle so new ones were obtained. The work was completed in 4 days and I was kept informed of any new issues. Also kept up to date of prices of various materials so I could decide what options would fit the budget. Could not fault their customer care nor their work ethics.

After being let down by other tradesmen previously, I came across South Home Improvements. From the moment I submitted a query, I received great communication. Jack was really friendly, honest and kept me up to date with the progress. The two lads that carried out the work were brilliant they worked exceptionally hard especially in the heat. I had new guttering installed around the whole property and over 20 ridge tiles rebedded. I definitely recommend this company and would use them again!
